The Clay County Church of the Brethren is a Church that believes in the fundamentals of Biblical faith. Each and every worship service is a wonderful spiritual adventure focused on five scriptural principles of worship:
Praise Joyful singing unto the Lord. (Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16) Praise and an invitation to the Spirit's control and intervention. (Acts 2:47)
Prayer Prayer that is often and fervent. (Luke 18:1, James 5:16)
Petition Bring your petitions, praises, and healing needs to the Alter to approach God's mercy seat on behalf of others as well as yourself. (I John 4: 14-15) An Alter call for the purpose of seeking soul salvation and Eternal Life. (John 3:16) Preaching Preaching that is Biblical, Gospel, instructional, and encouraging. (II Tim. 3:16-17, II Tim. 4:2, Romans 10:15)
Promise
A celebration of seeing God's promises come true in our midst today and everyday. (Psalms 105:40-42, Romans 4:20-22, I John 5:11-13) |
